Application for an Emergency Travelling Document (ETD)
Adult
- Original and photocopy of passport,
- If the passport is lost, avail an original copy of a police report,
- Two passport size photos,
- ¥264.
Minor
- Original copy of the baby’s Chinese birth certificate,
- Father or Mother’s original copies of birth certificate, National I.D. and Passport;
- Two passport size photos of the baby,
- ¥264.
N. B Baby and parent whose documents will be used to be present
N. B. Application is only done in person;
One gets his or her ETD the same day.
ETDs processed at the Embassy are valid-up-to 6 months.
Chinese Authorities do not attach any type of visa on an ETD, except for Exit Visas. Please ensure that your ETD has an Exit Visa stamped before travelling.
